here is a picture i found upon the web : it appears to be the foot of some tropical bird : i am not entirely sure of the species :
anyhow : i like particularly dark images such as these : not as good as the photography upon the site of oNe master photographer Matt Samolis: but still - a nice little image at that no less no less :

it is now well after lunch :
since it is nice day outside - i decide to step out for a breath of fresh air :
the office is buzzing - but only a bit softer now : that post-lunch low :
i step outside :
the only place we have to stand for a bit is near the backdoor to our brickface building [ a real eye-sore i have to admit to you ] : very close to the garbage mashing machine & the assembly of dumpsters ( there is also a row of 3 rather phalic cement & solid poles standing solemnly & painted yellow - yellow but solemn nonetheless ) : i feel lucky that the weather is somewhat cool as this diminishes the smells output by such a earthbound conglomerate of trash containment devices :
a woman w/ a red woolen blousetop comes out to smoke a cigarette : she must work upstairs : i have seen her before : coming in in the morning : glasses : handbag & long black coat : usually these fat-heeled pumps as well :
we do not speak to one another :
she smokes : i breath :
the cycle is complete & i return to work 20 minutes later :
